Beale Wildlife Park introduced a group of Scottish Wildcats

Posted by CDoyle on 30/12/2020

We have recently welcomed a group of three Scottish Wildcats.  The three wildcats are siblings born in April 2020 – there is one female (Asta) and two males (Beinne and Halum).

They arrived at the Park before Christmas and are settling in really well.

The IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) considers the Scottish wildcat to be facing a very high risk of extinction in the wild.

The Park is now closed for the winter. Please keep an eye on our website news section and via our social media sites for updates on the animals.
