It’s ‘All about Eggs’ our Family Discovery Trail from 17th July to 21st July

We are introducing the first of our summer Family Discovery Trails on Friday 17th July and it’s ‘All about Eggs’.

Having bought over 1,000 chocolate eggs to give away over the Easter holiday, we will be giving them away as prizes to our younger visitors for completing the trail. There is also the option of seed planter as a prize.

There are ten questions, which are all egg related including discovering when the first chocolate egg was produced to which bird lays the smallest egg in the world.  We have a real Elephant Bird egg on display in the Hatchery so visitors will be able to see how big it….. and yes – this is the trail we’d planned for the Easter weekend!

The ‘All about Eggs!’ trail will run to Tuesday 21st July when it will replaced by ‘Brilliant Birds’.

The photo is of two Beale Wildlife Park team members (Rachel and Nikki) with a chicken egg and the Elephant Bird egg.

The Park will be buzzing with activity during the October Half Term, visit our What's On page for a list of activities. Please read our Covid Briefing before setting out.
