We are delighted to announce that from Monday 22nd June, Beale Wildlife Park is open to visitors. It has been a quiet few months and we are thrilled to know that the Park will be filled with noise and laughter once again.
Most of the Park will be open to visitors but, due to social distancing measures some facilities such as the play areas will remain closed in accordance with Government guidelines.
We have conducted a comprehensive risk assessment and introduced new measures to keep visitors safe which includes keeping the play areas, paddling pool and sandpit closed. We will be limiting the number of visitors to the Park per day and it will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis so we are recommending that people keep an eye our social media pages before they set out.
Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the Park. These changes are all included on the COVID Briefing (click here) and include the Restaurant providing a takeaway service, some areas of the Park will be one-way and, whilst the narrow-gauge railway will be running, the Park has reduced the number of seats available in the carriages.
The Park’s social media sites will be updated twice a day to indicate to potential visitors as to how busy the Park is before they set out.
We do not want to turn visitors away and will be constantly monitoring the situation so we are simply asking people to bear with us in these unusual times.
